Nothing new is going on around our house. We are ready and excited about Ellie's first Christmas!

Two Teeth!

Ellie has two teeth now. I think you can see them in this picture.

She went for her 6 month check up yesterday. She is 27.75 inches long (96%) and is 18 lbs 6 oz (86%). She had 4 shots as well...one was a flu shot. Something kept Ellie up last night for over 2 hours. I think it might have been the flu shot. Hopefully, she won't repeat this tonight!

Santa!

Ellie went and saw Santa yesterday. She did perfect. She kept looking at him like "Who are you?" It was too cute!

Sleeping through the Night!

Ellie has started sleeping through the night more consistently now. Christian and I are very excited about this. She loves sleeping on her side. The funny thing is she loves to hold on to the bumper. No matter what side she is on, she holds on to it!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Here is Ellie in her new outfit. It is hard to tell but she is wearing a khaki skirt! Too cute!!

It's hard to tell in this picture, but Ellie got her ears pierced last Wednesday. She did great! She only cried for about 30 seconds. She hasn't touched them once!

1st Tooth!

This is what happens when Ellie grabs my arm when I am trying to feed her.

Ellie has started holding her bottle. She still needs some help, but I am hoping soon she will be holding it completely on her own.

Ellie also has her first tooth. When I picked her up from daycare yesterday, it was there! Yeah!! I think mom and dad are more excited about it then Ellie! I will try and get a picture of it soon!

Teething!!

Ellie loves her Jump-n-Go. She jumps and spins and has a blast in it. It was hard to keep her still long enough for me to get a picture!!

Updated on Ellie: We took her to the doctor a week ago. She said that Ellie is definitely teething - top and bottom! Ugh! Poor Ellie! We can definitely see her bottom teeth coming in. We think they will be here any day now. Ellie really has been a trooper with them!!

Pretty in Blue!

Nothing new to report! Just thought she looked cute in her blue outfit today. She might be teething. I felt her bottom gums last night and there is definitely two bumps that weren't there previously. We will just have to wait and see how long it will take for them to break the skin. She does seem to have a strong threshold for pain...which she does not get from me!!! I will keep you all updated!!

Ellie is growing like a weed. She is definitely going to be a tall girl. She is in 6 month clothes already. Her pajamas are 9 months. She is too long!! I am sure she is going to be taller than her mom!!

A Weekend with Grandma and Grandpa!

Well, we...let me correct that, I survived our first weekend away from Ellie. We all know that daddy's are a lot stronger. It was nice to get away. I was definitely ready to get back yesterday and see my little girl.

Grandma and Grandpa couldn't stop talking about how much fun they had. They are ready for the end of the month to come when the get to keep her for 5 days while Christian and I go on a cruise.

I could just eat that little face up!! She loves to look at her dad.

Grandma got Ellie her first pair of dress shoes. They go perfect with her outfit. Sorry that you can't see anything but the soles.

If it's not her fingers in her mouth, then it is her feet, outfit, or what ever she can get her hands on.

Happy Halloween!

It's is Halloween at daycare today. I am not sure why they are doing it today and not Tuesday! They are going to have a parade and Trick or Treat as well!

As you can tell, Ellie is sitting up. She is still a little wobbly but for the most part she is doing really well. When she does fall, it's normally to the front!

We are having our first weekend away this weekend. We will be in Dahlonega for a wedding. I am not sure what I was thinking leaving her for an entire weekend! I know she will be fine...but I don’t think I will be!

Home with Mommy!

I thought I would give everybody a little update. On Monday, daycare called and said that Ellie's eye looked really bad. I thought it was just a clogged tear duct. Her other eye had previously been clogged. Well, daycare finally insisted that I take her to the doctor or they wouldn’t let me bring her in on Tuesday. So, I took her to the doctor and it turns out that she did have pink eye and a double ear infection. I had no idea that her ears were bothering her. She never pulled on them at all. The doctor couldn't believe that she hadn't been a grumpy little baby...that’s how bad they looked. So Ellie and I stayed home yesterday. It was great to spend the day with her even though she was sick.

Sitting Up!

Last night we were giving Ellie a bath and she sat up by herself. She can sit on the floor by herself for a few seconds.

While dad ran to get the camera, I gave her a mohawk. Her hair is a little to long now, so it won't stand straight up.

A Walk Outside!

We have been taking Ellie for a walk at night when she starts to get fussy. She loves it. There is so much to look at. It also puts her to sleep.

Ellie loves to chew on her fingers. I am not quite sure if she is teething or not. She has recently started biting on her fingers instead of just sucking on them.

I found my feet!

I found my feet, and I keep taking my sock off!

Every chance I get, I grab my feet! Usually she just hangs onto the left one!

Here is Grandpa Fellers putting Ellie to sleep! Every time we would put her down, she would wake back up. So, Grandpa decided to pick up the wedge with her in it this time! It worked!

I am not quite sure what she is doing here. She is either sick of the camera or she is making a nice surprise for mommy and daddy!

4 Month Check-up

Ellie had her 4 month check up on Wednesday. She was 25 1/2 inches long (88%) and 14 lbs 6 oz (68%). She is growing like a weed.

She can now eat baby food. Here are pictures of her eating carrots. She would take one bite and not make a face and then her next bite she would make a face like it tasted horrible. I guess she couldn't decide if she liked it or not.

Ellie and I played pick-a-boo a couple of weeks ago and she laughed for us a little. When we were waiting to be called back at the doctors office, I tickled her foot and she laughed a little again. It is kind of funny because we will try and do the same thing again, but she wont laugh. I guess it is just a one time thing!

Ellie definitely has her father's personality. When we wake her up in the morning, she gives you an instant smile. The other morning I heard her stirring at 3:45 am. I didn't turn on any lights, so I had to get close to her to see if she was awake. What I saw was a huge smile on her precious face and her bobbing her left foot up in the air. Let me remind you again that it was 3:45 am! Seeing that beautiful smile I couldn't help but to smile back at her.
