I think we are officialy potty training!

I have no pictures to post, but I had to log on and tell everybody about this morning.
We had bad thunderstorms come through Atlanta about 4:30am this morning. I couldn't sleep, so I came to the couch. I had to work yesterday (10.5 hours), so I was going to get up with Ellie this morning. I get up Ellie with on Saturday and Christian gets up with her on Sunday.
At 7 a.m. I hear Ellie make a noise, so I go to get her but she doesn't make any other noise, so I assume that she is going back to sleep, and I go back to the couch to sleep.
At 8, she starts really talking. I walk in her room and notice something on the floor in front of her crib. I turn on the light and realize that it is her DIAPER! I look in the diaper and notice there are some poopy marks. I look and find one poopy in her bed. So I get a wipe pick it up. I then turn and notice that Ellie's hand are COVERED in POOP! FABULOUS!!!!
So I did get to sleep in this morning, but my prize for sleeping in was a daughter covered in poop!

I hope everybody has a great Sunday!

One little monkey...

Ellie loves to jump! As she calls it "bump." We will be putting her in gymnastics in the fall. I think she will have a blast!

Just Chillin'

These pictures were actually taken last month. We were all sitting on the couch watching T.V. I looked over and saw Ellie sitting like this! How stinkin' cute is she?
I have just started scrapbooking. I was going through old pictures to see what I wanted to use. Anytime Ellie lays down to go to sleep, she puts her hands underneath her. While I was looking at the pictures of her as an infant, I noticed that even as a baby she slept with her arms underneath her! Too cute!

Cute Pics

Anytime Christian is shaving, and Ellie is around, she wants some if his shaving cream! The funny thing is that Ellie likes to eat it! Yep, that's right. She eats it....along with lotion, bubble bath, sunscreen. I have no idea why, but anything like that she wants to eat. We have to be careful what we give her!

Cheese!

My New Skates

Skating by herself!

All ready to go!
Ellie got new skates for her birthday! They don't seem to roll like skates should. She was walking more than she was skating. She had fun though!

"Ellie Fellers"

Last week Ellie started saying her full name. I believe they call her Ellie Fellers at daycare; instead of just Ellie. I am not sure why, but I have heard some of her teachers call her that before! It is so cute to hear her say it. She hasn't quite got the "Grace" part yet. We will work on it.

She is learning her ABC's and numbers. She is doing great! It is funny because she will count backwards, "10, 9, 8" and then say "yeah" and clap for herself! She is so cute! We are loving every minute of this age. She is so fun and playful. So far we haven't hit the terrible 2's. Don't get me wrong, she does have her fits, but I don't think they are that bad.

More lake pictures

We spend every weekend that we have available at the lake. Thankfully, Ellie loves the water. Last year every time we would ride around in the boat, Ellie would fall asleep. Our first trip out on the lake this year, she didn't. She stayed awake the entire time we were out. I was worried that she wouldn't take naps and become very grumpy. Well, every since then she has started taking her naps on the boat. We will go to an island and play for a couple of hours and then we will ride around. Within 5 or so minutes, Ellie is out. She sleeps as long as the boat is moving. We will then stop and let her play in the water some more.

Swim Lessons

Ellie sucking the water out of the pool toys.

Ellie drinking the pool water and kicking her feet in the water.

Emily, Ellie's swim teacher.

Ellie blowing bubbles in the water!
Ellie started swim lessons this past Sunday at Swim Atlanta. She did a great job! This is a beginners class. I am worried that Ellie is too advanced for this class. We will see after this Sunday. Emily wanted all of the girls to get used to the water! Did I mention the day before was her pool party?!? Ellie doesn't need an introduction to water! She was born a "fish." We can't keep her out of any water! We will let her play on the back porch and within seconds she is in the dogs water! We have to put it on the patio table for her not to play in it!
We will see how this Sunday goes. If she is not introduced to anything new, I think I am going to talk to her teacher about another class. These lessons were a little expensive for her not to learn anything new!

Ellie's Birthday Party

We had Ellie's 2nd birthday party at Christian's parents neighborhood pool! It was great! They had a nice pavilion and a great pool. The weather was perfect! Thank you to everybody that came! We had a great time, and we hope you did as well!

2 Year Check-up

Ellie had her 2 year check up on Friday. She weighs 30 lbs (85%) and was 36" tall (94%). They estimate her to be 5'10" to 6' tall. I am convinced that she will be taller or as tall as me when she is five.

She had to get her finger pricked. At first she just said "ow." Then the nurse started squeezing her finger to get the blood to come out. She started screaming.

The doctor came in after that and checked her over. She has fluid on her left ear. It appears that the tube is gone in that ear. We are doing drops for 5 days. Hopefully, that will clear it up. If it doesn't, we will be headed back to the ENT. Pray that she is not on her way to her third set of tubes! Ugh!

When the nurse came back in for her shot, Ellie knew what was coming. She started screaming and would not let me put her on the table! I hate that part!

Ellie's birthday party was Saturday. I have about 200 pictures to go through. I will post those soon. She also started swim lessons yesterday! What a busy weekend!
