Ellie's New Kicks

Ellie's feet are growing just as fast as her little legs! People think she is a toddler. It is so funny. I had her feet measured a few weeks ago. She is already a size 5. I felt bad though because I had been putting shoes on her that were 4 and 4 1/2's! Oops!

We got Ellie a small pool for her birthday. We finally blew it up and let her play in it. I think the water was too cold because she wouldn't stay in it very long. She loved playing with the hose and then the sprinkler. She definitely is a water baby!!

Ellie's 1 Year Pictures

We had Ellie's pictures taken yesterday! She did a great job! Christian and I had to dance around the studio to get her to make some sort of expression. There were so many great pictures of her! These are the 4 we chose!!

12 month Check-up

This is Ellie's new face. When she sees something she likes or is excited about it, this is the face she makes! The other day I was blowing up a pool for her. She walked over and looked at it. This is the face she made. It was the best.

Ellie had her 12 month check up on Friday. She weighs 23 lbs 7 oz. They didn't give me the percentages this time.

We also had her check up for the ENT. Her hearing is back and her ears look great. We have to take her back every 6 months as long as she has the tubes.

Duck

Last night Ellie said another new word. Duck! She was walking around with the small duck that she has in her hand. All of a sudden, she said "duck!" I was so excited!

Ellie is starting to become a little more independent. When I get her out of the car at daycare in the mornings, she wants to get down and walk herself. We still have to work on the hand holding. She fights it at first, but she eventually lets me hold her hand.

As you can tell in these pictures, it is a little hard to get pictures of her sitting still!!

Everytime we take Ellie in the backyard she tries to play in the dogs water. Well, last night we didn't stop her. She had a blast. She was completely soaked, but she had fun!
