I know! I know! It has been almost a month. I will offer no excuses! Hehe!!
Our neighborhood offered a visit with Santa. It was great! I made an appointment for Ellie at 12:25 pm on a Saturday. Ellie and I left about 12:15 because she could not wait any longer to see Santa. We walked right in and Ellie talked to Santa. She told him what she wanted for Christmas! As you can tell from the pictures, she was not completely sure about Santa. At least she wasn't screaming!!! We were back home within ten minutes!! It was great not having to wait in line for an hour plus!!
We had another wonderful Thanksgiving this year!! We had dinner with my side on Thursday. Mom and I went shopping all night for Black Friday!! It was a lot of fun and well worth no sleep. I added up all of my savings and it was right at $200! You can't beat that!! After shopping, I headed to the house. We got ready and were off to Helen to spend some time with Christian's family. His parents rented a log cabin in the mountains. It was a great!! It was a little cold, but not too bad.
Elisa brought a game, I don't remember what ts called. If you look close you can see the balls that are right about Ellie's head. There is a ball on each end of a string. You throw it towards the other 'stand', not sure of that's the right word. If you got it on the blue bar you got 1 point, yellow was 2 I think, and the red was for 4 points! Everyone had fun playing it!!
Tuesday was hat day at school!! I am sure it didn't stay on long!!
We are ready and excited about the holiday season. We are still enjoying our new neighborhood as well. Ellie has met so many new friends. It is great!! There is one little girl that is 3 like Ellie. Her name is Shelby! Shelby lives three doors down from us! Ellie has me call her mommy every night to see if Shelby can play! It is great having lots of kids for Ellie to play with!
Cute story:
Ellie is in to lipstick, big time!! I was walking into Target the other day and saw they had a princess lip gloss for a dollar. I knew Ellie would love it! I gave it to her that night and she kept asking to take it to school. I kept telling her that she couldn't take it. She would tell me that she would put it in her bag and run over put it on and the leave it alone. Yeah right, is what I was thinking! The next morning Ellie and I were on the way to school and all of a sudden, Ellie said mommy, did you turn the alarm on so nobody would get my lip gloss? I reassured that the alarm was on and she didn't have to worry. Ellie responded with good because I would be really, really mad if somebody took my lip gloss!! Where do these kids come up with this stufff?
