We had a wonderful Valentine's Day. Ellie got a red doggy from Daddy and a frog from Mommy. She loves to sleep with both of them....doesn't leave much room for her!
Ellie is talking up a storm. Her new word is naked. She took her shirt off last night and ran around the room holding her stomach saying "naked."
Unfortunately, last week our refrigerator died! Let's just say it is very hard living out of a cooler. Anyway, when Christian picked her up Friday afternoon she ran to the refrigerator and had him open it. When she saw that there was nothing in it she said, "Oh, no! All gone! Oh, no! All gone!"
Knock on wood, Ellie is doing incredible since her last surgery! She has been so happy! We are very thankful for tubes.
Two Fridays ago reality hit me with what Ellie had been dealing with her ears. Around 4:oo my right ear started feeling funny. By 6:15, I was in so much pain. The whole right side of my face just ached. Part of me really thinks it was worse than labor pains. I ran off to the doctor immediately. I had a severe inner ear infection. I felt awful. I am very thankful for Loratab. However, I felt even worse thinking about how many times Ellie has had ear infections and no paid medicine except for Tylenol. I will demand that she is giving pain medication if she ever has one again. The pain was absolutely awful.
