Shrek

Ellie has been so funny lately. She absolutely loves Shrek. We haven’t quite figured out why. The new Tahoe has a DVD player in it; the first movie that she watched in the Tahoe was Shrek. EVERY night she comes to you, sticks her hand out to get ours and then takes us to the door to go out into the garage. This happens at least ten times a night…no lie! If we don’t go with her, it’s a tantrum.

We have learned to put Shrek on in the house. She does seem to quiet down and watch it. A couple of weeks ago I took Ellie with me and went shopping. Ellie was sitting in her stroller. All of a sudden I hear “ugh, ugh, ugh.” I look up and she is pointing at a shirt on a rack. I turn to look at the shirt. It is a little boy’s shirt with SHREK on it! I just can’t figure out what her fascination is with Shrek. Most little girls like Dora, not Ellie!
